They are overseers for the purpose of ministering to and pastoring Steve and Liz in their relationship with God and each other. They are also available if there were any controversy related to areas of financial, sexual, or theological issues.

Dr. Dick Eastman

Dr. Dick Eastman is International President of Every Home for Christ (EHC), a 65-year-old ministry that has planted over 3 billion gospel messages home to home in 215 nations resulting in over 106 million followed-up decisions and responses. A staff of 4,000 supported workers and 30,000 monthly volunteers carry out the work of reaching an estimated 200,000 homes a day with the Gospel. In his role with EHC, Dick has traveled around the world more than 100 times to every continent. He also serves as President of America’s National Prayer Committee and is the author of numerous best-selling books on prayer and evangelism with more than 3 million copies in print. Dick’s vision for greater cooperation in Christ’s Body for unified evangelism strategies globally has given birth to The Jericho Center for Global Evangelism in Colorado Springs. 24/7 worship and intercession is also currently being developed at The Jericho Center.

George Stahnke

George Stahnke is a pastoral counselor in the counseling department at Focus on the Family. Stahnke is on the board of directors for Wings of Grace Counseling Services in Colorado Springs and is a charter member of the Association of Biblical Counselors. He is also an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, the founder and director of Renewal Ministries of Colorado Springs, which includes private counseling. Stahnke has been in ministry 40 years, serving fourteen of those years as a senior pastor. He served as the Vice President and President of the Colorado Springs Association of Evangelicals for six years. Stahnke also served as a member of “The Net,” a local association of pastors in Colorado Springs, for ten years. He has traveled to India, Philippines, Ukraine and China ministering to missionaries and native pastors, teaching and preaching in the churches. He and his wife, Linda, have been married since 1976 and have five children and 16 grandchildren.

Paul Stanley

Paul Stanley graduated from West Point (1963) and served in the US Army as an infantry commander, including combat in Vietnam. He left the military in 1970 and joined the Navigators campus ministries. A few years later, Paul and his wife, Phyllis, were asked to move to Vienna, Austria, to form a multinational team and pioneer a discipleship and leadership development ministry to the persecuted believers of communist Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. God blessed this initiative and within 5 years there were thriving ministries in each of the Iron Curtain nations.

Paul joined the Navigators International Executive Team, which provides leadership to the Navigators Worldwide Partnership of over 6000+ staff in 115 nations. After 17 years, Paul stepped out of his executive role with The Navigators in 2008, and formed Leader Development Network (LDN), a fast growing group committed to raise up a new generation of leaders in the secular and ministry world, who will live and lead like Jesus.

Paul is an author, teacher and consultant to many organizations on leader development and strategic planning, and an avid leadership coach to mid and senior level leaders. He and Phyllis have four children and 11 grandchildren. They reside in Colorado, USA.
