Emmanuel was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. He was born into a ministry family where his father pastored a church. When he was 6 years old, he had an encounter with the Lord which let him know that God had a plan for him in ministry. After this encounter, he had visions and dreams of speaking to ‘Caucasian’ congregations. For a young boy in Kenya, this seemed like a fantasy. Those experiences guided Emmanuel’s preteen and teen life, keeping him from going down the wrong paths. When he came to the U.S. at the age of 16, he began to believe those visions and dreams that he had early in his life.
Emmanuel has a degree in IT Management and a Master’s in Biblical Studies. He started the young adult’s ministry at The Road Church with the goal of seeing young adults on fire for Jesus. Along with his wife, Brea, their vision for the ministry is to see young adults grow in Jesus Christ through discipleship and to build a Christ-centered community.
