Joey and his wife, Alleigh, have been married for eight years and have three young boys. When he’s not working with youth, Joey enjoys hiking 14ers, coaching wrestling, running, and spending time with his family. Colorado Springs is home and he loves it here.
Joey has been working with teenagers in the Colorado Springs area for over 12 years. He has a passion for youth ministry and believes greatly in this next generation of young people. He loves teaching the Bible and discipling teens. Before serving as the Youth Pastor at The Road, Joey spent four years as an 8th grade history teacher and wrestling coach in D38 and D20. He has a B.A. in History with an emphasis in Secondary Education and an M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction. He also spent 10 years serving in the Colorado Air National Guard.
